Tiger Brown is a 3 mm decorative cork wall tile made in Portugal, with irregular horizontal dark-brown bands across a warm natural cork base. Its wax-finished surface combines a directional pattern with visible pores and fissures.
Material character and interior applications
Broad lighter cork areas are divided by darker bands that vary in width and continuity. Use Tiger Brown for living rooms, bedrooms or hospitality feature walls where a clear horizontal rhythm is desired. Quieter adjoining finishes help balance the pronounced pattern. Natural differences in tone, markings and band placement occur between tiles and batches.

Finish, installation and care
Natural cork with a decorative surface and wax (paraffin) finish. Bond to a clean, dry, flat and sound interior substrate with a compatible adhesive, following its manufacturer's instructions. Plan the direction and transitions between tiles before fixing. Adhesive is not included.
Dust with a soft cloth or wipe gently with a lightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking, abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals.
Before specifying
Will the stripes join continuously across every tile?
Do not assume exact matching. Bands and natural markings vary; review the actual pieces together before installation.
Is Tiger Brown a complete insulation system?
No. It is a 3 mm decorative tile, not a standalone soundproofing or thermal-insulation system. Specify dry interior use and avoid direct water exposure unless the complete wall system is designed for it.
