Black Cork - Cork Wall Tile

Black Cork is a 3 mm decorative cork wall tile made in Portugal, with a deep brown-to-charcoal surface and fine natural grain. Its restrained texture offers a quieter alternative to strongly patterned cork designs.

Material character and interior applications

The dark surface provides contrast alongside pale timber, textiles and lighter wall finishes. Consider it for a living room, bedroom or reception feature wall where a continuous dark tone is desired without a completely smooth painted appearance. Fine particles and subtle brown variations remain visible; individual tiles and batches can differ.

Formats and pack coverage

Quantity 1 means one selected pack. Choose your format and pack in the variant selector. Compare the listed coverage with the wall area and allow additional material for cuts and layout. Coverage excludes installation waste.

Finish, installation and care

Cork with a wax (paraffin) finish, for adhesive fixing to a suitable dry interior wall. Prepare a clean, flat and sound substrate, check adhesive compatibility and follow its manufacturer's instructions. Adhesive is not included.

Keep the surface dry and remove dust with a soft cloth. Avoid soaking and abrasive cleaning.

Before specifying

Is Black Cork the same product as Acoustic Black?

No. Black Cork is a 3 mm decorative tile. Acoustic Black is a separate product in the 10 mm Acoustic range.

Does this tile provide complete soundproofing?

No. Do not treat a 3 mm decorative tile as a complete soundproofing or thermal-insulation system. Performance-led projects require product-specific data for the complete wall construction.
