Why Cork on Your Walls?
Cork is one of nature's best insulators. It keeps rooms warmer in winter, cooler in summer, and noticeably quieter — all while looking beautiful. Unlike paint or wallpaper, cork adds real texture, depth, and character to your walls. It is naturally resistant to moisture, mold, and dust, making it a healthy choice for any interior.
How Much Do You Need?
Each 600×300mm tile covers 0.18 m². Here is a quick guide:
- Small accent panel (1 m²): Pack 5 tiles + 1 extra tile = 6 tiles
- Feature wall (3 m²): Pack 20 tiles (3.6 m² — includes spare for cuts)
- Full room coverage (10+ m²): Full Box 99 tiles covers 17.82 m²
Tip: always order 10% extra to account for cuts and waste.
Ideal For
Home theaters, feature walls, and contemporary offices.
How to Install
- Make sure your wall is clean, dry, and smooth (plasterboard, painted wall, concrete, or wood).
- Apply contact adhesive to the back of the tile and to the wall surface.
- Wait until the glue becomes tacky (usually 5–10 minutes).
- Press the tile firmly onto the wall, starting from the center and working outward.
- Use a roller or flat tool to ensure full contact. Done!
Need to cut a tile? A sharp utility knife and a straight edge are all you need.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many tiles do I need for my wall?
Measure your wall's height × width to get the area in m². Divide by 0.18 (the coverage of one 600×300mm tile) and add 10% for cuts. Example: a 3 m² wall needs about 17 tiles — we recommend the Pack 20.
What adhesive should I use?
Use a quality contact adhesive (also called contact cement). Apply a thin, even layer to both the tile and the wall. Let it dry until tacky before pressing together. Most hardware stores stock suitable adhesives.
Can I remove the tiles later?
Cork tiles installed with contact adhesive are designed to be permanent. Removal is possible but may leave residue or damage the wall surface. If you plan to change your design in the future, consider applying tiles to a backing board first.
Are cork tiles suitable for bathrooms or kitchens?
Cork is naturally water-resistant, so it works well in dry areas of kitchens and bathrooms. Avoid areas with direct water contact (next to showers or sinks). For extra protection, apply a cork-compatible sealant.
How do I clean cork wall tiles?
Simply wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Cork is naturally antistatic and repels dust, so maintenance is minimal. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
