The CorkMart Compact Natural Cork Café Table Set brings together four small rectangular cork placemats, four substantial round drink coasters and one thicker rectangular cork trivet for the serving dish everyone shares. Each piece has a purpose, making the set particularly useful for breakfast, coffee, brunch and casual meals on smaller tables.

What's included — 9 pieces

  • 4 small rectangular cork placemats: 300 × 200 × 3 mm each (CorkMart SKU 1210-SN); rich natural cork grain with darker cork flecks and softly rounded corners. One individual mat per person, sized for a breakfast plate or small bowl.
  • 4 thick round cork coasters: Ø98 × 9 mm each (CorkMart SKU 1207); light granular natural cork, with one dedicated place for each person's mug, cup or glass.
  • 1 rectangular cork trivet: 300 × 200 × 9 mm (CorkMart SKU 1226R); light fine-grain natural cork, used as a shared resting base under a suitably sized teapot, serving dish or small casserole.

Why this particular combination works

Four individual placemats keep compact breakfast place settings tidy, four coasters give every drink its own cork surface, and one thicker centre trivet serves the shared dish. The 30 × 20 cm placemats intentionally occupy less space than standard dinner placemats. The trivet has the same footprint but is three times thicker and has a lighter, finer cork grain, making its different role easy to recognise.

  • Approximate net weight: 495 g for the complete set, excluding protective packaging.
  • Material: cork. Texture, grain and tone naturally vary slightly between pieces.
  • Appropriate use: placemats are intended for small table settings, not directly beneath hot cookware. Place hot serving vessels on the 9 mm trivet only when their bases fit securely within its surface, on a clean, level and dry table. Do not use a trivet to lift cookware.
  • Care: gently wipe with a soft slightly damp cloth; dry completely before stacking. Avoid soaking, dishwasher cleaning, abrasive scrubbing and direct contact with open flames or heating elements.

Food, plates, cups, table linens and other photography props are not included. The nine cork items are supplied as one coordinated set.
