RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

1. GENERAL RETURN POLICY (EU RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL)

We have a 14-day return policy for standard orders placed by End Consumers (B2C). This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

2. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS & EXCEPTIONS

Due to the nature of our products and business model, certain items cannot be returned. Please review this list carefully before purchasing:

  • B2B / Wholesale Orders: All orders placed by professional customers (Business-to-Business) are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless the product is structurally defective upon arrival.
  • Customized & Personalized Products: Items that have been laser-engraved, printed, made-to-measure, or modified according to your specifications cannot be returned. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications.
  • Natural Variations: Cork is a 100% natural material. Slight variations in color, grain, porosity, and texture are proof of authenticity and are not considered defects. We do not accept returns based on these natural characteristics.
  • Sale Items: Items purchased on sale or using special promotional codes are final sale.

3. EXCHANGES

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size, color, or product, please follow the return process for a refund and place a new order.

4. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To start a return, you must contact us at info@corkmart.com.

If your return is accepted, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, along with the specific return address and instructions on how and where to send your package. Please do not send items back to our head office without prior approval, as they may be rejected or lost.

5. DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at info@corkmart.com with photos of the issue so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

For confirmed manufacturing defects or shipping damages, CorkMart will cover the replacement shipping costs.

6. SHIPPING COSTS AND CUSTOMS (INTERNATIONAL RETURNS)

6.1. Return Shipping: Unless the item is defective, you are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

6.2. International Returns (Non-EU): If you are returning an item from outside the European Union (e.g., USA, UK, Canada), you must clearly mark the package as "RETURNED GOODS" on the customs declaration.

6.3. Refused Shipments: If you refuse a shipment due to unexpected import duties or taxes, the original shipping cost and the cost of returning the package to us will be deducted from your refund. If the return costs exceed the value of the goods, the package will be abandoned and no refund will be issued.

Warning: If CorkMart incurs any import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees upon receiving your return due to incorrect labeling or declaration, these costs will be deducted from your refund amount.

7. REFUNDS PROCESS

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not based on the condition of the product. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds: Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at info@corkmart.com.

8. EUROPEAN UNION 14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As mentioned above, this item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. This right does not apply to customized/personalized goods.
