This makes our products practically rot-resistant and highly resistant to humidity, making them perfect for bath mats, coasters, and kitchenware.

Portugal is home to the world's largest cork oak forests (Montados), producing about 50% of the world's cork. Our cork is harvested by experienced professionals without damaging the tree , ensuring a raw material with superior elasticity, compressibility, and longevity compared to other origins.
How durable are your cork products?
Extremely durable. Cork has an elastic memory that allows it to recover its shape after compression. It is highly resistant to friction and fire-retardant. Whether it is a cork stopper preserving a vintage wine for decades or a yoga block, it is built to last.
Is cork safe for food contact?
Yes. Cork is chemically inert, odorless, and tasteless. That is why it has been the preferred seal for wine and spirits for centuries. Our kitchen and dining products are safe, hygienic, and easy to clean.
Is harvesting cork bad for the environment?
Quite the opposite. Cork is 100% renewable and recyclable. The Cork Oak tree (Quercus Suber L.) is never cut down; we only harvest the bark, which regenerates every 9 years. In fact, a harvested cork oak absorbs up to 5 times more CO2 than an unharvested one, helping combat global warming .
Are your products vegan?
Yes. Cork is a 100% plant-based material extracted from the bark of the tree. We do not use animal products in our standard collections, making them a perfect cruelty-free alternative to leather.
